Travel businesses prepare plans to develop tours and promote domestic tourism to domestic and international visitors in 2025.

In 2025, Vietnam's tourism industry aims to welcome 22-23 million international visitors and serve 120-130 million domestic visitors. Total revenue from tourism strives to reach about 980-1,050 trillion VND.

To do this, Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Ho An Phong said that the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism needs to effectively carry out two strategic tasks: tourism management and promotion.

Mr. Ha Van Sieu - Deputy Director of the Vietnam National Tourism Administration pointed out a number of key promotion and promotion programs in the year such as: National Tourism Year 2025 - Hue, International Conference on Cultural Industry Associated with Tourism Development, VITM Hanoi Fair 2025, ITE HCMC Fair 2025... at the same time, implementing many new tourism programs.

Meanwhile, travel businesses are also quickly preparing and finding solutions to promote domestic tourism.

Speaking with Lao Dong, Ms. Huynh Phan Phuong Hoang - Deputy General Director of Vietravel Company - said that in 2025, the company will deploy tourism products to meet all customer segments, including: Outbound tourism, domestic tourism, welcoming international visitors to Vietnam (inbound) and retail services.

Among them, the outstanding types of domestic tourism products include: Discovery tours in the Northwest, Central Highlands...; Resort tours in Phu Quoc, Nha Trang, Da Nang...; Community tourism tours at homestays, indigenous cultural villages; Specialized tours such as trekking, camping, pilgrimage...

In addition, the company also provides a full range of retail services such as airline tickets, hotel restaurants, sightseeing tickets, car rentals... to serve tourists.

Assessing the domestic tour market next year, Mr. Bui Thanh Tu - Marketing Director of BestPrice predicts that nearby markets such as Sa Pa, Hoa Binh, Ninh Binh, Phan Thiet, Vung Tau... will dominate due to the convenience of travel. Air routes such as Da Nang, Nha Trang, Phu Quoc, Quy Nhon will also be the choice of the majority, especially during peak season. Train routes will probably only peak in the summer.

"The domestic market is characterized by being very busy on weekends and in the summer. During the low season, there are few visitors. So to develop this market, businesses must have a plan to hold rooms and local hotels to serve a large number of visitors," said Mr. Tu.

In addition, Mr. Tu hopes that localities will soon announce the event schedule throughout the year so that businesses can incorporate it into their effective business plans.

In addition to expanding tours, routes, and customer service, travel businesses also plan to promote domestic and international tourism and cooperate strategically with partners and localities.

Ms. Huynh Phan Phuong Hoang shared: "Next year, the company will actively run product promotion campaigns with the slogan of sustainable tourism, develop content on social networks such as TikTok, Facebook, YouTube..., periodically livestream to introduce tours and promotions. At the same time, we plan to actively participate and organize booths at tourism fairs in Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi... and organize workshops and roadshows in key localities".

Regarding international promotion plans, businesses are also preparing to participate in international fairs: such as ITB Berlin (Germany), WTM London (UK) and fairs in China, Korea, Japan... to attract tourists to Vietnam; promote products in key markets through major travel partners; increase marketing content on international platforms in many languages...

At the same time, the company builds cooperative relationships with domestic and foreign partners and localities, focusing on key areas: aviation, travel, tourist destinations, technology, etc. to deploy and expand combo programs, exclusive incentives, and build special tours at destinations and localities.
