The Con Son - Kiep Bac Autumn Festival 2025 will be held from October 1 to 11. This is the first time the festival has taken place locally after completing the arrangement of administration and the organization of government at two levels.
At the same time, the event is also an important occasion to promote and honor the outstanding values of the relic complex that has just been recognized by UNESCO as a World Cultural Heritage.
This year's festival is associated with many important events in history and ethnic culture, including the 725th anniversary of the death of National Hero Tran Hung Dao and the 583rd anniversary of the death of World Cultural Celebrity Nguyen Trai. In particular, the festival will officially announce the Yen Tu - Vinh Nghiem - Con Son - Kiep Bac Relic and Scenic Landscape Complex recognized by UNESCO.
The festival program lasted for 11 days with many outstanding activities such as the Tran Hung Dao Memorial Ceremony, the opening of the Con Son - Kiep Bac Autumn Festival, the opening ceremony of the Kien Bac Temple, the Speech and Government on the Luc Dau River and the Culture and Tourism Week and commercial promotion. These events not only contribute to preserving traditional values but also create cultural highlights, attracting visitors.
Before the festival, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism will hold a press conference to introduce new tourism products and build a tour route to visit 5 important relics in the Yen Tu - Vinh Nghiem - Con Son - Kiep Bac heritage complex. The three main tours include: One destination with 5 heritages, Following the footsteps of the three ancestors of Truc Lam and Exploring the World Heritage Site of Con Son - Kiep Bac.
The Con Son - Kiep Bac Autumn Festival 2025 is not only an event to commemorate heroes and famous people but also an important opportunity to promote world cultural heritage, contribute to tourism development and preserve heritage values for future generations.
