In May, when the whole country is looking towards the 136th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birth (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2026), the Kim Lien Special National Relic Site, Nghe An province welcomes crowds from all over to visit Uncle Ho's hometown.

From early morning, many delegations of delegates, officials, civil servants, public employees, armed forces, union members, association members, workers, students, and tourists from all directions were present at the Kim Lien Relic Site. In a solemn atmosphere, the delegations respectfully offered flowers and incense, commemorating the great contributions of President Ho Chi Minh - the beloved leader of the Vietnamese nation.

According to records, tens of thousands of people from many localities, agencies, units, schools, and businesses organized a journey to the source during the 2026 Sen Village Festival. Delegations successively visited relic sites associated with the homeland, family, and the youth of President Ho Chi Minh.
At the entrances to the relic site, people lined up to move in order. Many delegations wore traditional costumes, carrying wreaths and banners, expressing their respect for Uncle Ho. Many tourists said that returning to Kim Lien in May is a sacred and touching experience.

On the journey to the origin, the delegations visited Uncle Ho's paternal and maternal homeland; listened to explanations about his life and revolutionary career; learned simple but profound stories about his family, homeland, and President Ho Chi Minh's journey to find a way to save the country.
In particular, many delegations of students attentively listened to explanations at relic sites. Through each artifact, each house, each story about Uncle Ho's childhood, children have more opportunities to understand more about his life, personality and great thought.

Not only is it a spiritual and historical destination, Kim Lien Relic Site in these days has also become a space for patriotic tradition education. Each delegation of visitors here brings emotion, gratitude and pride when setting foot in President Ho Chi Minh's homeland.
On this occasion, the 2026 Lang Sen Festival is organized with many unique cultural and artistic activities, exhibitions and tourism experiences. The activities contribute to honoring Ho Chi Minh's ideological, moral, and style values; and at the same time promote the image of Nghe An homeland to people and tourists.

One of the highlights of the festival is the opening ceremony taking place on the evening of May 18 at Lang Sen stadium, Kim Lien commune. Besides, there are activities of offering flowers, incense, procession of Uncle Ho's photos, thematic exhibitions, "Village Market" space and programs promoting Nghe An culture and tourism.
The flow of people returning to Uncle Ho's hometown during the Sen Village Festival created a solemn and sacred atmosphere in Kim Lien. Each trip to the source is not only an opportunity for people and tourists to remember President Ho Chi Minh, but also contributes to spreading the noble values in his ideology, morality, and style.
