According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, the area from Quang Tri to Khanh Hoa has scattered showers and thunderstorms, locally heavy rain with rainfall of 20-40mm, some places over 80mm. Warning of the risk of local heavy rain (>80mm/6 hours).
Ninh Thuan, Binh Thuan, Central Highlands and Southern regions have scattered showers and thunderstorms, locally heavy rain with rainfall from 15-30mm, locally over 70mm (thunderstorms are concentrated in the afternoon and night).
Meanwhile, the above provinces continue to have rain with common accumulated rainfall as follows: in Thua Thien Hue, Da Nang and Binh Dinh, rain is from 10-30mm, some places over 30mm; in Quang Nam, Quang Ngai and Binh Phuoc, rain is from 20-60mm, some places over 80mm.
Dong Nai province continues to have rain with accumulated amounts of 20-50mm, some places over 50mm. People and tourists need to be on guard against the risk of flash floods on small rivers and streams, landslides on steep slopes in the above province, especially in the districts of Tan Phu and Dinh Quan.
