According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, tomorrow (December 23) in the North and North Central regions, the weather will continue to be rainless at night, sunny during the day, with scattered fog and light fog in the early morning, and cold. The Central and South Central regions will have scattered showers and rain. The area from Da Nang to Khanh Hoa from the night of December 23 will have moderate rain, heavy rain, locally very heavy rain and thunderstorms with common rainfall from 30-80mm, locally over 200mm.
Early morning and on December 24, in the Eastern Central Highlands, there will be moderate rain, heavy rain, locally very heavy rain and thunderstorms with common rainfall from 15-40mm, locally over 70mm.

The Eastern Central Highlands will see widespread rainfall of 30-60mm, with some areas seeing over 120mm. From December 26, heavy rains are likely to gradually decrease. Residents and tourists should be on guard against thunderstorms with the possibility of tornadoes, lightning and strong gusts of wind.
Offshore, the tropical depression in the South China Sea is likely to strengthen into a storm tomorrow. The center of the tropical depression on the afternoon of December 23 is at about 11.0 degrees North latitude; 112.9 degrees East longitude, in the sea southwest of the central China Sea. The strongest wind near the center of the tropical depression is level 8, gusting to level 10; moving in a North-Northwest direction, at a speed of 15-20km/h.
