Weather Forecast for tomorrow, September 24, heavy rain in the Central region will gradually decrease, floods on rivers are likely to peak.

According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, the mountainous provinces of the North continue to have rain with rainfall generally less than 10mm, in some places over 20mm. The provinces of the Northern Delta, midlands and Thanh Hoa have rain from 10-20mm, in some places over 50mm.

Provinces from Nghe An to Quang Binh have rain from 20-40mm, some places over 80mm; Thua Thien Hue from 10-30mm, some places over 50mm. From September 24, heavy rain in the Central region tends to decrease.

Flooding continues in Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Ha Tinh provinces; flooding in Ninh Binh province gradually decreases. Residents and tourists should be on guard against the high risk of flash floods and landslides in mountainous areas in Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Ha Tinh provinces.

Floods in the downstream of Buoi River and the downstream of Ma River are likely to peak. The peak flood level in the downstream of Buoi River at Kim Tan will rise to 12.1m, 0.1m above BD3; the downstream of Ma River at Ly Nhan will rise to 11.10m, 0.1m above BD2; at Giang, to 6.1m, 0.4m below BD3. Floods on Hoang Long River will continue to fall.

Hanoi

Lowest temperature: 22-24 degrees Celsius.
Highest temperature: 26-28 degrees Celsius.

Cloudy, occasional rain in the morning, no rain later. Northeast wind level 2-3.

Northwest

Lowest temperature: 21-24 degrees Celsius, some places below 20 degrees Celsius.
Highest temperature: 28-31 degrees Celsius.

Cloudy with scattered showers and thunderstorms. Light winds. Thunderstorms with possible tornadoes, lightning and strong gusts of wind.

Northeast

Lowest temperature: 20-23 degrees Celsius, in mountainous areas some places below 20 degrees Celsius.
Highest temperature: 27-30 degrees Celsius, in mountainous areas some places above 30 degrees Celsius.

Cloudy, scattered showers and thunderstorms; in the plains and coastal areas, there will be showers and thunderstorms in the morning, with some heavy rain in some places. Northeast wind level 2-3. There is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning and strong gusts of wind in thunderstorms. Cool weather, cold in some mountainous areas.

Thanh Hoa - Thua Thien Hue

Lowest temperature: 21-24 degrees Celsius.
Highest temperature: 26-29 degrees Celsius.

Cloudy, with moderate rain, heavy rain and thunderstorms, locally very heavy rain; scattered showers and thunderstorms in the North at night. North to northwest wind level 2-3. Thunderstorms may cause tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind.

Da Nang to Binh Thuan

Lowest temperature: 24-27 degrees C.
Highest temperature: 30-33 degrees C.

Cloudy, scattered showers and thunderstorms. Southwesterly winds level 2-3. Thunderstorms are likely to produce tornadoes, lightning and strong gusts of wind.

Central Highlands

Lowest temperature: 20-23 degrees C.
Highest temperature: 26-29 degrees C.

Cloudy, scattered showers and thunderstorms, scattered showers and thunderstorms in the late afternoon and evening. Southwest wind level 2-3. Thunderstorms are likely to cause tornadoes, lightning and strong gusts of wind.

Southern Vietnam
