In the North and the area from Thanh Hoa to Thua Thien Hue, the weather continues to be cold, with some mountainous areas in the North experiencing severe cold. The lowest temperature during this cold spell in the North and North Central regions is generally between 12-15 degrees Celsius, with some places in the mountainous areas of the North below 10 degrees Celsius; in the area from Quang Binh to Thua Thien Hue, it is generally 15-18 degrees Celsius.
Due to the influence of the cold air strengthening, tomorrow in the area from Thua Thien Hue to Phu Yen there will be moderate rain, heavy rain, locally very heavy rain and thunderstorms, with common rainfall from 30-60mm, locally over 100mm. From the night of December 28, heavy rain will gradually decrease.
In Quang Tri and Khanh Hoa areas, there will be rain, showers, locally heavy rain and thunderstorms with rainfall from 10-30mm, locally over 50mm. People and tourists should be on guard during thunderstorms with the possibility of tornadoes, lightning and strong gusts of wind.
