The National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting warns that from the evening of August 30 to the evening of September 1, the Northern region will have moderate rain and thunderstorms, with some places experiencing heavy to very heavy rain with rainfall of 20-40mm, and some places experiencing over 80mm (rain concentrated at night and in the morning).
The North, South Central and South regions will have scattered showers and thunderstorms, locally heavy rain with rainfall from 10-30mm, locally over 60mm (rain concentrated in the evening and at night). Thunderstorms are likely to cause tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind.
The Central Highlands region has moderate rain, heavy rain and thunderstorms, locally very heavy rain with common rainfall from 40-100mm, locally over 150mm (rain concentrated in the late afternoon and evening). From the evening of September 1 to the evening of September 2, the Central Highlands has moderate rain, heavy rain, locally very heavy rain with common rainfall of 20-50mm, some places over 80mm.
On August 31, the Central Central region will experience heat waves with the highest temperature commonly ranging from 35-36 degrees Celsius; the lowest relative humidity commonly ranging from 55-60%. From September 1, the heat waves will end in the Central Central region. According to the Southern Hydrometeorological Station, the low pressure trough with an axis at about 14-16 degrees North latitude, passing through the Central region, is very active.
During the National Day holidays from the afternoon of August 31 and September 1-2, people and tourists in the Central region will experience moderate to heavy rain from noon to evening with rainfall from 15-30mm, locally over 80mm.
Hanoi

Highest temperature: 31-33 degrees Celsius.

Northwest
