According to the latest weather forecast, the North will be cold and dry until Wednesday, January 8, then the weather will turn cold and humid from Thursday when a new cold air mass arrives.

Over the past few days, the North has had few clouds, sunny afternoons, and low temperatures at night and early mornings due to the influence of cold, dry air masses.

According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, this weather pattern will last until tomorrow, January 8.

From January 9, a new cold air mass will strengthen, the divergent wind field will no longer be strong.

At this time, the sky in the North is cloudy, no longer dry. The lowest temperature at night and in the morning tends to increase slightly when the sky is cloudy, no longer emitting.

Hanoi weather forecast tomorrow 21-26 degrees Celsius, the following days the daytime temperature will decrease by 1-3 degrees Celsius to about 18-23 degrees Celsius, by Friday it will be 12-16 degrees Celsius.

Mountainous areas above 1,500 m such as Sa Pa (Lao Cai) have temperatures of 7-16 degrees Celsius at the beginning of the week and 4-9 degrees Celsius at the end of the week.

The Central region has reduced rain because the cold air mass is not currently active, and the divergent wind field also reduces the ability to accumulate moisture.

From January 9, cold air from the North will affect the Central region, causing thunderstorms to increase again.

From January 10 to 12, many places in the Ha Tinh - Khanh Hoa region will have rain.

Thanh Hoa - Thua Thien Hue is forecast to have the highest temperature of the day below 23 degrees Celsius.

The South and Central Highlands will have little rain next week, sunny weather, night and morning temperatures will drop to 14-17 degrees Celsius.

In the Southeast region such as Binh Duong, Binh Phuoc, Tay Ninh, Dong Nai, the lowest temperature is 19-22 degrees Celsius.

The Southwest has temperatures ranging from 21-23 degrees Celsius. On sunny days, the highest temperature in the Central Highlands is 25-28 degrees Celsius, and in the South is 30-33 degrees Celsius.

Residents and tourists in the Northern region should pay attention to bring clothes suitable for the weather, wear many layers to keep warm and flexibly change when the temperature rises, ensuring their health.

In particular, if you intend to hunt for ice and snow, visitors need to proactively prepare measures to keep warm.

People and tourists in the Central and Southern regions should remember to bring umbrellas and raincoats when going out to prevent sudden changes in weather due to the influence of a new cold front.
