On August 30, many tourist areas and attractions in Ninh Binh province began to enter a peak period of serving tourists during the 5-day National Day holiday September 2nd.
At Trang An eco-tourism area, from early morning, thousands of tourists flocked here to visit. According to Lao Dong Newspaper reporters, the ticket counter area and the boat wharf area are always bustling. Although the number of visitors is large, the Management Board of Trang An Eco-tourism Area has proactively arranged, streamed and increased ferry staff, so there is no congestion or jostling.
Similarly, at Thung Nham eco-tourism area, on National Day 2/9 this year, this tourist area has been decorated with many spaces with the red color of the national flag, creating a stopover and photo spot for tourists.
Prominent is the art space with the theme "A strip of mountains and rivers - A source of pride", designed with winding red silk strips, symbolizing the historical flow of the nation. Thereby, attracting a large number of tourists to visit and experience.
Ms. Tran Thi Thanh Lan - Head of Business Department of Thung Nham Eco-tourism Area - said: "On August 29 and 30, Thung Nham Eco-tourism Area welcomed nearly 20,000 visitors to visit and experience. All rooms in the tourist area have been fully booked by tourists until the end of September 2nd".
Mr. Bui Van Manh - Director of Ninh Binh Provincial Department of Tourism - said that before the holiday, the Department has requested tourist areas, attractions, accommodation establishments and service businesses to proactively prepare human resources, facilities, vehicles and necessary conditions to serve tourists.
In which, units must develop plans to ensure security, safety, fire prevention and fighting, environmental sanitation, food safety; arrange staff to guide and support guests and promptly handle arising situations.
At key tourist areas and attractions, Ninh Binh tourism industry requires proactive plans to divert and regulate the number of visitors, limiting the situation of excessive concentration, local traffic congestion and service overload.
One of the contents that is particularly noted during the National Day holiday for the past 9 years is the control of service prices. Accommodation establishments, areas, and tourist spots must publicly list room rates, service prices, surcharges, promotions, refund policies and conditions for canceling and changing services.
The Department of Tourism requests units to sell at listed prices, not arbitrarily increase prices or collect additional fees outside the agreement with customers. Acts of soliciting, forcing customers, stalking, and providing service that is not of the right quality are required to be strengthened for inspection and handling.
In addition, Ninh Binh Tourism industry recommends that tourists choose programs organized by qualified travel businesses, participate in travel insurance and be wary of spontaneous tours or programs promoted by individuals, KOLs, KOCs but not ensuring the conditions according to regulations.
During holidays, tourist areas and attractions must regularly update weather forecasts, proactively adjust or temporarily suspend operations in areas that are not safe due to heavy rain, landslides, natural disasters or other adverse factors.
