Ninh Binh Provincial Department of Tourism has just issued a document requesting localities, management boards of tourist areas and attractions, service business establishments and the Provincial Tourism Association to strengthen safety measures for activities and tourism products with risky elements in the province.
According to the Department of Tourism, recently, some experiential activities, performances, and promotion of tourism products with adventurous elements have appeared in the province such as SUP rowing, motor paragliding, hot air balloons, flyboards... in some tourist areas and spots. Some activities have had incidents, affecting the health of performing athletes and tourists, posing potential safety risks as well as affecting the image and tourism environment of the province.
The Department of Tourism requests the Management Board of tourist areas, attractions and tourism service business establishments to review all activities and tourism products that are risky or potentially affect the lives and health of tourists being organized within their management scope; only organize and provide products when fully ensuring safety conditions according to the provisions of law.
In addition, develop and organize the implementation of safety, rescue and relief plans suitable for each type of operation; arrange forces, vehicles, and necessary equipment to promptly handle accidents, incidents, and risks; maintain communication throughout the process of providing products and services. Inspect and ensure the quality, technical condition, and use of equipment, vehicles, and support tools in accordance with relevant standards, regulations, and rules; do not put into use equipment and vehicles that are not safe...
The Department of Tourism requests the People's Committees of communes and wards to strengthen propaganda and disseminate legal regulations on ensuring safety for tourism activities and products with risky elements in the area; improve the awareness of compliance of business organizations and individuals and tourists.
