During the National Day holiday on September 2nd, many tourists choose to go to Hai Tien beach, Ninh Binh province to rest, experience the coastal space and visit the Towered Church - a destination with a pristine and ancient beauty amidst the sea and sky.
According to the Ninh Binh Provincial Department of Tourism, located on the coast of Hai Tien commune, the collapsed church, officially known as the Church of the Heart of God, impresses with its remaining architecture after more than a century of existence. The first structure was built in 1877. However, due to the prolonged sea erosion process, the church was initially threatened by sea waves, forcing parishioners to relocate deep inland about 3 km.
From 1917-1927, a new church was built in the French architectural style with a larger scale. Over time, the bell tower and some remaining items became the famous "Failed Church" today.

During the holidays, the Dumb Church area becomes a stopover for many groups of tourists. Groups of young people come to admire the scenery, take photos; families combine visiting the building with entertainment and relaxation in the Hai Tien beach area.
Spacious, airy space with sea views and ancient architectural traces create different experiences compared to crowded entertainment venues.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Minh, a tourist from Hanoi, said: "My family chose to go to the sea on September 2nd to rest, and also wanted to find a place with a special landscape to visit. The collapsed church is quite impressive, especially when standing in the vast sea space.

Coming to the Collapsed Church, visitors not only admire an ancient architectural work but also have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the simple rhythm of life of the coastal fishing village. Each time of day brings a unique beauty, from early morning light to the sunset scenery on the sea.
Having gone through more than a century with the fluctuations of nature, the collapsed church is not only an architectural mark but also reflects the process of sea encroachment, sea encroachment and the adaptation of the coastal community.

On the journey to the sea on the occasion of National Day, this place has therefore become an emotional stop, helping tourists both rest and explore stories associated with the coastal land of Ninh Binh.
