The complete journey of distant tourists
Regardless of thousands of kilometers of distance, many tourists from the South and Central regions have chosen the Capital as a destination during the April 30 - May 1 holiday. Among them, the Grand Cathedral has become a coordinate attracting a large number of young people to visit and preserve souvenir frames next to the ancient architectural work.

Overcoming a long journey from Ho Chi Minh City to Hanoi, Vu Doan Yen Vy could not hide her joy even though the flight encountered a rather long delay.
Vy shared: "Hanoi has many ancient cultural works. My sisters and I come here not only to preserve commemorative moments but also to learn more about history through architectural works. As a religious person, when I come to the Grand Cathedral, I feel satisfied with the architectural beauty and have space to pray. Although I have traveled far, I find it very worthwhile.

Sharing the same feeling, Nguyen Thi Huyen (a tourist from Da Nang) had to travel by road from the afternoon before to be in Hanoi in the early morning. Huyen said that before, she only saw ancient architecture through television or social networks, now being able to witness it with her own eyes makes her truly satisfied.
The Grand Cathedral is a symbol that everyone mentions when coming to Hanoi. The festival atmosphere here is very bustling, the streets are filled with flags and flowers, making me really enjoy it," Huyen added.
Not only attracting visitors from afar, the Grand Cathedral is still a favorite destination for even those who have been attached to the Capital for many years.
Vu Nguyen Ngoc Hieu, a person who has worked in Hanoi for 5 years, shared that although he has been to many places, every major holiday, he still chooses this place to check in.
According to Hieu, the value of this destination is not only in the beautiful photos but also in the place that helps people feel the most clearly the intersection between architectural and historical beauty.
Weather "pleasing people's hearts
One of the factors that makes the journey of distant tourists more complete is Hanoi's weather during the holidays. Contrary to concerns about the intense heat of summer, the weather in the Capital is currently very cool, sunny, especially suitable for going down the street to visit.

Yen Vy excitedly shared that the weather is quite "favorable" to tourists, making the holiday atmosphere more bustling but still pleasant. With a passion for history, Yen Vy will continue her journey to Thang Long Imperial Citadel and Temple of Literature - Quoc Tu Giam to enjoy her holiday.
Agreeing with this view, Ngoc Hieu also said that the street atmosphere filled with flags and flowers, beautifully decorated, combined with the fresh morning weather, has created an extremely attractive face of the Capital. Taking advantage of this favorable condition, in addition to the Grand Cathedral, Ngoc Hieu will continue to visit the railway street and Hoan Kiem Lake to fully enjoy the bustle of the Capital during the holidays.
