At the meeting, Ms. Nguyen Thi Anh Thi - Vice Chairwoman of Da Nang City People's Committee - announced the launch of Da Nang International Fireworks Festival (DIFF) 2025 with a series of accompanying events, and expressed her belief that with the determination and responsibility of the city's departments, agencies and branches, the enthusiasm, experience and potential of Sun Group and its partners, DIFF 2025 will continue to create new successful milestones.
DIFF 2025 will take place from May 31 to July 12, 2025 with the theme "Da Nang - New Era". 2025 is the 50th anniversary of the liberation of Da Nang City, so DIFF 2025 carries the message of the transition of the era, affirming the city's aspirations and determination in the new period, with a vision of prosperous development and efforts to mark Da Nang's position on the international tourism map.
DIFF 2025 will be a fireworks season with 6 fireworks nights, 10 competing teams from Vietnam, Finland, UK, Portugal, Poland, Korea, Italy, Canada, China.
Along with a series of accompanying events throughout the summer, DIFF 2025 is expected to continue to be a highlight attracting tourists to Da Nang City, especially international visitors with the participation of new teams.
Mr. Cao Tri Dung, Chairman of the Da Nang Tourism Association, said: “With this event, we have called on hotel associations, travel associations, transportation associations, and tour guides to proactively create attractive, unique, and special product packages for DIFF. We expect that by 2025, the number of international visitors to Da Nang will increase sharply by 20%-25% compared to 2024, reaching 5 million international visitors. Meanwhile, domestic visitors will increase by 10%, with about 8 million visitors.”
Mr. Ho Thanh Tu - Chairman of the Da Nang Tourism Association - assessed that with the DIFF 2025, the addition of 8 to 10 teams as well as shooting nights will certainly create many opportunities for tourists to enjoy the festival in Da Nang this summer.
“We will create more combo packages, and at the same time, implement culinary activities and a series of events in the summer to help visitors have the opportunity to experience parallel with other events at DIFF. In addition, with night activities as well as new products that will be deployed in parallel to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Da Nang's liberation, travel agencies also promise to bring many products and services so that visitors, including international visitors, can have the maximum experience when coming to Da Nang in the near future,” said Mr. Tu.
The DIFF 2025 Organizing Committee also said that the price of fireworks tickets will be from 1,000,000 VND/ticket depending on the grandstand position. In particular, the earlier you buy tickets, the higher the discount you will receive. The discount for early ticket buyers can be up to 20% of the ticket price. To celebrate the city's important anniversary, each fireworks night, the organizing committee will also give away 50 free tickets to the audience at the grandstand positions during the golden hours to hunt for deals on the app. The total amount of tickets given away will be up to nearly 500 million VND.
