On October 10, Dong Nai Tourism Association held the 1st Congress of Delegates, term 2025 - 2030, with the participation of representatives of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism, the Vietnam Tourism Association, along with provincial leaders and the tourism and travel business community.
At the congress, Mr. Pham Huong Son - Chairman of Truong Tuoi Dong Nai Football Club was elected to hold the position of Chairman of the Dong Nai Provincial Tourism Association for the 2025 - 2030 term. The Association was established on the basis of merging two organizations, formerly Dong Nai Tourism Association and Binh Phuoc Tourism Association. The new Executive Committee consists of 31 members, including 1 chairman and 10 vice chairmen.
According to the development orientation, Dong Nai tourism industry aims to welcome about 5.2 million visitors by 2025, with revenue of more than 4,000 billion VND, and over 11 million visitors, revenue of nearly 12,000 billion VND by 2030. The association's key tasks in the new term include promoting Dong Nai tourism to domestic and foreign markets, promoting regional linkages, developing local typical products and applying technology in tourism activities.
Speaking at the congress, Chairman of Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee Vo Tan Duc assessed that the early organization of the congress demonstrated the proactive spirit of Dong Nai Tourism Association in the new context. He hopes that the association will become a "common home" connecting businesses, protecting the rights of members and contributing to promoting tourism as an important economic sector of the locality.
