Promotion of opening from aviation
Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee in coordination with the Consulate General of India in Ho Chi Minh City recently organized the India - Khanh Hoa promotion conference in 2024. At the conference, representatives of Vietnamese airlines and Indian enterprises exchanged a lot of information related to sky connection to promote tourism development cooperation between the parties.
According to Mr. Tushar Garg - Deputy Consul General of India in Ho Chi Minh City, Khanh Hoa with its beautiful landscape, pristine beaches and vibrant culture, has many similarities with diverse tourist destinations in India. The promotion conference is an opportunity to explore and take advantage of these similarities when 30 leading Indian tourism enterprises and nearly 100 tourism and service enterprises of Khanh Hoa come up with ideas for cooperation.
A representative of Vietjet Air said that the airline currently has 7 routes to India with a very good number of passengers. In particular, the number of passengers connecting in the central region with 2 localities, Da Nang and Nha Trang, is very high. The airline is also promoting flights from Cam Ranh to India to expand the customer market in the second most populous country in the world.
Khanh Hoa - ideal destination for luxury wedding tourism
According to Mr. Tushar Garg - Deputy Consul General of India in Ho Chi Minh City, there are 3 areas in which the tourism industry of India and Khanh Hoa can cooperate effectively. These are health tourism, cultural exchange programs and eco-tourism .
Mr. Abhineet Shukla - Head of the Indian travel business delegation - shared that Khanh Hoa with its breathtaking landscapes, rich heritage and vibrant cultural activities, is a destination that perfectly fits what Indian tourists are looking for - authentic experiences combining relaxation with cultural immersion. At the same time, India with its vast and diverse tourism potential, offers countless opportunities for Vietnamese tourists seeking adventure, spirituality and discovery.
The two areas where the Indian and Khanh Hoa tourism industries have good room for cooperation are MICE and luxury wedding tourism. “We see Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa as a very attractive destination to connect and organize high-end wedding tours with the need to stay for 5-6 days, with the number of guests coming to Nha Trang from 400 - 500. It is necessary to establish a focal information channel between the two sides to build information, build criteria on cuisine and convenient transportation for development,” Mr. Abhineet Shukla emphasized.
According to Ms. Nguyen Thi Le Thanh - Director of Khanh Hoa Province Department of Tourism, the locality has implemented many promotional activities to the Indian market. With 65% of hotel rooms meeting 3-star standards, resorts are self-contained... In particular, the beautiful bay, the culinary system according to the needs of guests is being widely spread and can meet all the requirements of tourists.
Ms. Thanh hopes that through the conference, businesses from both sides will find a common voice, connect tourism and service needs, promote tourism development between Khanh Hoa province and India, and grow faster than in previous years. Khanh Hoa Department of Tourism will be the focal point to connect and build luxury wedding tours from the Indian market.
