CNN reported that a 360-degree roundabout (360 Big pendulum) in an amusement park at Green Mountain Resort broke in half while carrying passengers.
Video of the accident shows the passenger seat axis hitting the other end of the child shook and collapsed to the ground. Before that, tourists playing swing were excited and shouted loudly when swinging up to the highest level.
According to Al Arabiya TV channel, at least 23 guests were injured, of which 3 were seriously injured and were in critical condition.
The seat belt system keeps visitors in their seats tightly. The injured were all given first aid on the spot, some were promptly transferred to the hospital.
The incident occurred on the evening of July 30 (local time) in the Al-Hada mountain resort, near Taif city, Saudi Arabia. Al Hada is a very famous mountainous resort in the western part of Saudi Arabia.
According to the Arabian press, the resort was required to close immediately and the cause of the roundabout collapse was clarified.
