The traditional festival of General Le Chan 2026 is an event organized annually by Le Chan district (formerly Le Chan ward) to promote the cultural beauty, traditional rituals about the life, career, and great contributions of General Le Chan - the person who pioneered and established An Bien ancient village, Hai Phong city today. Thereby arousing national pride, long-standing cultural history, and the tradition of "When drinking water, remember the source" of the nation.
The festival also contributes to preserving and promoting the value of national intangible cultural heritage - the traditional festival of General Le Chan, historical - cultural, architectural and artistic relics ranked at the national level such as Nghe Temple, An Bien communal house; meeting the needs of beliefs, traditional festival activities, spring travel of city people and tourists from all directions.
This year's festival is expected to be held for 3 days, from March 25, 26, 27 (ie, March 7, 8, 9 of the Binh Ngo year) at locations: Statue of General Le Chan, National historical and cultural relic Nghe Temple, National architectural and artistic relic An Bien communal house.
