At the end of July 2026, Vung Tau Ward People's Committee organized the inauguration of the firebreak runway and the connecting route of Vi Ba street - alley 444 Tran Phu. Only a short time after the inauguration, this place quickly became a route loved by many people and tourists, who come to explore and experience.
The entire route runs more than 10km from Vi Ba road, winding through winding sections, weaving through bumpy forests, crossing the Ho May tourist area and the top of Big Mountain (Tuong Ky mountain); passing through historical sites such as Mine tunnels, ancient artillery battlefields... creating many experiences for people and tourists.
During the journey, tourists can stop to admire the central area of Vung Tau, Bai Truoc, Bai Dau areas, even the swamp area at the mouth of the Dinh River, further to Long Son - Can Gio, the oil and gas port area... from above. Many destinations along the route such as Vinh Nghiem Pagoda, Bo De Pagoda, Chon Khong Zen Monastery are also places where tourists can stop to visit and worship.

Or tourists can stop to enjoy coffee, refreshments, eat peach eggs, watch trains rushing back and forth at sea; visit the cannons in the Ancient Artillery Battlefield; check-in for beautiful photos from the top of the mountain....
Ms. Hoai An (resident of Vung Tau) said that before the connection route was completed, the route also attracted quite a few people to walk for sports; experience admiring Vung Tau from above.
After completing the connecting route, the route is doubled in length, along with more interesting experiences, so I often invite friends to experience it on weekends or in my free time," Ms. An said.

Ms. Ngoc Ha (Binh Phuoc tourist) said that she has traveled many times on this route to experience during a trip to Vung Tau.
The first time we went, our group spent about 1 hour just to move the entire route by motorbike, some deserted sections, steep slopes, dense trees... made us sometimes think about turning back, but after completing the journey, it was really refreshing. The next times, we stopped at interesting places to check-in, take photos, and refresh ourselves...", Ms. Ha said.

According to the People's Committee of Vung Tau ward, this is a project with dual strategic significance, both strengthening forest fire prevention capacity to protect the "green lung" of Big Mountain, and opening up a new tourism - service experience space for tourists. Thereby, contributing to the development of ecotourism and experiential tourism products, attracting tourists and effectively promoting the natural landscape values of Vung Tau ward.
