In Hanoi, the "Countdown 2026 - Real Connectivity Opening" program takes place from 7:00 PM on December 31, 2025 to 0:00 AM on January 1, 2026 at Dong Kinh Nghia Thuc Square and Hoan Kiem Lake pedestrian street area.
Right from noon, many people gathered here to choose a beautiful place to stand, waiting to watch the event.
Do Hoang Nam (22 years old, Lai Chau) and a group of friends were already sitting in Dong Kinh Nghia Thuc Square from about 3 pm. He shared: "My group and I wanted to choose a convenient seat to fully watch the Countdown program. Being present early, witnessing the preparation atmosphere, general rehearsal of the stage and the crowd gradually flocking is also a very special experience, not always available.
The Countdown 2026 event gathers many famous artists such as Hoa Minzy, Bui Cong Nam, Quan AP, Karik... In particular, world-famous DJ Alan Walker will appear on stage. This is an artist widely welcomed by young people.
Dinh Thi Thanh Thao, a female student from Phu Tho, said: "We brought drinks, a little snack, a spare charger and prepared ourselves to wait quite a long time. Thanks to being prepared in advance, waiting is also more comfortable, not too tiring.
In the Hoan Kiem Lake pedestrian street, tourists scattered to stroll, take photos, and enjoy the bustling festival atmosphere of the last day of the year. Many young people wore beautiful clothes to take photos and save memorable memories.
In addition to the countdown event, in Hoan Kiem district, 2 fireworks display sites will be organized in the area in front of the Hanoi Moi Newspaper Office and in front of Hanoi Post Office. Fireworks display time is 15 minutes, from 11:45 PM on December 31, 2025 to 0:00 AM on January 1, 2026.
