Gia Lai - Vehicles transporting tourists who are not qualified to do business will be inspected and handled to ensure traffic safety and the rights of tourists.

On July 24, Mr. Nguyen Huu Que - Vice Chairman of Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee - assigned the Department of Construction to preside over and coordinate with functional forces to conduct a review and strictly handle tourism-related cars that do not meet the requirements according to the law.

Accordingly, the authorities will focus on inspecting vehicles that have not registered for transportation business but still collect passenger transportation fees at tourist destinations. At the same time, it is required to review and handle vehicles that have not converted license plates to service vehicles, have not been granted badges or transportation signs according to regulations.

Tightening management aims to ensure the safety of tourists, especially in the context of Gia Lai province aiming to attract nearly 12 million visitors in 2025, exploiting the strengths of forests, sea and natural landscapes.

The provincial government also implemented civilized tourism messages, including "3K": No price increase, no price pressure; no customer competition; no noise pollution, waste, and "3A": Traffic safety; food safety and hygiene; safety of life and property.
