When learning about the 2026 World Cup tour with a group of friends, Mr. Minh Quan (39 years old, Hanoi) said he was quite surprised to see many service packages priced up to billions of VND.
“Initially, I thought going to see the World Cup would be about a few hundred million VND, but looking closely, I saw that there is a tour of nearly 2 billion VND/person. This level is almost equal to buying a car, so I have to consider a lot,” Mr. Quan said.
According to Mr. Quan, what makes many football fans like him still interested is that the 2026 World Cup is held in North America on the largest scale in history, including 48 teams and 104 matches taking place in 16 cities in the United States, Canada and Mexico. This is also the first World Cup co-hosted by three countries.

Not only Mr. Quan, recently many Vietnamese tourists have started to learn about tours combining World Cup viewing and North American tourism. However, high prices are becoming a major barrier for the majority of tourists.
Surveys from travel businesses show that the market currently has many product packages with prices ranging from over 100 million VND to nearly 1.9 billion VND/person depending on ticket class, length of stay and accompanying services.
In the more popular segment, some businesses deploy "free & easy" packages including air tickets, hotels and visa support with prices of about 150-350 million VND/person. This type is suitable for groups of customers who want to arrange their schedules themselves or actively hunt for match tickets to optimize costs.
Meanwhile, tours to watch the quarter-finals in Los Angeles are priced from about 810 million VND/person. With this price, visitors can stay in a 5-star hotel, have private shuttle buses and match tickets with a Pitchside Lounge service package for FIFA World Cup 2026.
The higher-end tour group is priced at about 1 billion VND/person for the semi-final viewing trip in Atlanta. Guests staying at luxury hotels such as St. Regis or Signia by Hilton Atlanta, use private cars and are supported by coordinators throughout the trip. In addition to supporting restaurant reservations or additional tours, guests can also participate in private events before and after the match.
The most expensive currently are tours to watch the 2026 World Cup final with prices ranging from 1.5-1.9 billion VND/person for a 6-day 5-night itinerary, applicable to groups of two or more customers. This is a product line aimed at business customers or VIP customers who want to experience high-end services during the World Cup season.

According to Mr. Pham Van Bay, Director of Vietravel Retail Center in the North, the tour and combo market for FIFA World Cup 2026 is showing positive signs, especially in the group of relatively high-income customers, business customers, VIP customers and long-time football fans.
A representative of Vietravel said that this is not a mass product line but belongs to the group of sports tourism combined with high-class experiences. Due to the high tour value while the quality service supply in the host cities is limited, groups of customers with real needs often reserve early to ensure match tickets, hotels and convenient itinerary.
Meanwhile, Ms. Tran Thi Bao Thu, Director of Communications and Marketing of Vietluxtour, said that customers are still mainly in the stage of finding information, referring to prices and visa conditions rather than closing tours immediately.
According to Ms. Thu, the group of customers who are interested early are mostly business people, customers who already have US visas or combine watching football with tourism, visiting relatives. The business is currently building combo packages including air tickets, hotels and visa support with an expected price of about 150-350 million VND/person depending on the itinerary and ticket type.
According to travel businesses, the 2026 World Cup tour market is forecast to continue to heat up in the near future, especially after the official schedule and major matches are announced.
