Of which, international tourists reached 851,100, an increase of 25% over the same period last year (including 600,000 international tourists staying). Domestic tourists are estimated to reach 1.65 million, an increase of 10% over the same period last year.
In the past 11 months, Hanoi tourism has welcomed 30.94 million visitors, an increase of 22.1% over the same period in 2024. Of which, international tourists reached 7.09 million, an increase of 25.2% over the same period in 2024 (including 5 million international tourists staying), domestic tourists reached 23.84 million, an increase of 21.3% over the same period in 2024. Total revenue from tourists reached VND 120.6 trillion, up 20.7% over the same period in 2024.

In 2025, Hanoi aims to welcome 31 million visitors, including 7.5 million international visitors, accounting for more than 30% of the total target international visitors to Vietnam (about 25 million visitors). Estimated revenue is VND 130,000 billion. Thus, the capital's tourism industry has approached the target set after the first 11 months of the year.
The average room occupancy rate of hotels in Hanoi reached 73.4%, clearly showing the revival of accommodation activities.
Currently, there are 3,761 accommodation facilities in Hanoi with more than 71,000 rooms, of which 85 hotels are rated 1 - 5 stars, contributing to improving the quality of services, meeting the diverse needs of tourists.
The standard service system of 58 food, beverage, shopping, entertainment and health care establishments is increasingly being perfected, helping tourists experience more fully when coming to Hanoi.
In December 2025, Hanoi will implement many large-scale promotion and advertising activities. The Hanoi Department of Tourism plans to organize many activities to stimulate and attract more tourists, such as the Hanoi Craft Village Food and Tourism Festival and Hanoi Craft Street in 2025.
The Department of Tourism coordinates with the People's Committees of communes to develop tourism products: agricultural and rural tourism products; night tourism products; golf tourism products; community tourism products associated with practical experiences of traditional cultural values of ethnic minorities...
At the same time, the Department of Tourism will submit to the Hanoi People's Committee for consideration and approval the Project to innovate the organizational model, management methods, conservation, and promotion of the value of the national historical relic site and the scenic spots of Huong Son Complex (Huong Pagoda).
