At the opening ceremony, Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Hoang Dao Cuong affirmed that cultural exchange and tourism cooperation between Vietnam and China is a traditional relationship on the basis of the long-standing neighborly friendship between the two countries.
The cultural introduction and tourism promotion programs taking place vigorously in both countries have gradually contributed to the good and sustainable development of bilateral cooperation in culture and tourism, worthy of the Vietnam - China Comprehensive Strategic Cooperative Partnership, making an important contribution to building a Vietnam - China Community of Shared Future of strategic significance.
The Deputy Minister assessed that these activities have brought clear results when China returned to the No. 1 market sending market position for Vietnam tourism with 4.3 million visitors in the first 10 months of 2025, accounting for 25.2% of the total number of international visitors to Vietnam.

In the first 10 months of this year, Guangxi welcomed about 150,800 overnight tourists from Vietnam, an increase of about 62.35% over the same period.
In the coming time, the Quang Tay side proposed to promote the improvement of the quality and level of the Ban Gioc Waterfall Scenic Area (Vietnam) - Duc Thien (China), combining the unique tourism resources of both sides, jointly designing and promoting high-quality tourist routes, attracting more visitors.
In addition, it is necessary to support tourism businesses of both sides to coordinate in organizing tourism promotion conferences, participating in international tourism fairs, and jointly exploiting the source market for visitors.
