Of which, international tourists are estimated to reach 709.22 thousand visitors, an increase of 42.6% over the same period in 2024; domestic tourists are estimated to reach 2.47 million visitors, an increase of 23.8% over the same period in 2024.
Thanks to the strong recovery of the international market and the steady growth of the domestic market, total revenue from tourists in Hanoi in August is estimated at 12.54 trillion VND, an increase of 31.5% over the same period in 2024.

The Hanoi Department of Tourism also announced that the total number of tourists to Hanoi in the first 8 months of the year is estimated at 21.58 million, an increase of 13.9% over the same period in 2024.
Of which, international tourists reached 4.96 million, an increase of 25.8% over the same period in 2024. Domestic tourists are estimated to reach 16.62 million. Hanoi earned about VND 85,835 trillion from tourism in the first 8 months of the year, up 17.1% over the same period in 2024. Also during this period, the average room occupancy rate of the hotel block is estimated at 59%.
