Domestic tourists are estimated to have welcomed 614,000 arrivals, a slight increase of 3.6% over the same period last year. This year, tourist areas and spots around the suburbs tend to increase dramatically.
Total revenue from tourists is estimated at more than VND 2.18 trillion, an increase of 8.3% over the same period in 2023.

This year's National Day holiday lasts 4 days, so the demand for rest and travel increases. It is estimated that during the 4-day holiday, the average room occupancy rate of hotels and tourist apartments reached about 61.2%, an increase of 1.7% over the same period in 2023. Some 4-5 star hotels and luxury apartment complexes in Tay Ho and Dong Da districts... achieved quite high room occupancy rates, from 80% to 100%.
For shopping centers, shopping, entertainment and dining establishments serving tourists all recorded high visitor numbers and revenue during the 4-day holiday.

Many programs and festivals to welcome Independence Day have been successfully organized, attracting a lot of attention from tourists such as: Walking space in Hoan Kiem Lake area and surrounding areas and walking streets in the Old Quarter with many vibrant and attractive cultural and artistic activities; Vietnam Ethnic Culture and Tourism Village, Son Tay town with the program "Happy Independence Day"; Bao Son Paradise Park, Hoai Duc district with the program "Fairyland Festival"...
