On March 8, Hanoi Travel Association (HATA) held an early spring 2025 Meeting to connect member businesses and deploy an operating plan for 2025.
HATA announced HATA's new brand identity, demonstrating its commitment to promoting green and environmentally friendly tourism activities.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Vu The Binh - Chairman of the Vietnam Tourism Association, highly appreciated HATA's activities in recent times, contributing to helping the capital's tourism industry welcome 27.86 million visitors in 2024, including 6.35 million international visitors, an increase of 34.4% compared to 2023.
According to Mr. Vu The Binh, the Hanoi tourism industry in the coming time needs to pioneer in raising awareness among members about sustainable travel activities, continuing to include green tourism criteria in products, committing to sustainability and service quality.
Ms. Le Thanh Thao, President of the Hanoi Travel Association, said that in 2025, members will aim to develop sustainable tourism products through building tourism products associated with environmental protection and community development, while promoting green tourism standards in a sustainable direction.
The association will focus on key focuses such as expanding the inbound and outbound markets; developing typical tourism products of Hanoi such as cultural tourism, green tourism and MICE tourism; applying technology and digital transformation; promoting trade and international cooperation by participating in fairs such as VITM Hanoi 2025, ITB Berlin and WTM London...

Accompanying travel agencies, the Hanoi Department of Tourism will continue to develop new tourism products such as: adventure sports tourism, experiential tourism, Red River tourism, helicopter tourism, hot air balloon flying and virtual reality tourism.
A representative of the Department of Tourism said that Hanoi will launch two cultural tourism routes connecting the center with the southern and western areas of the city; a community tourism destination in My Duc district; and a number of agricultural, rural tourism models and night tourism products.
The Hanoi Travel Association plans to launch a development cooperation alliance, introducing typical tours such as "French Architecture in Hanoi Heart" and "Nam Thang Long Heritage Road".
We will create tourism products that are not only attractive but also bring sustainable value, emphasized Mr. Pham Duy Nghia, Vice President, General Secretary and Head of HATA Product and Training Development Department.
In 2025, the Hanoi tourism industry aims to welcome 31 million tourists, including about 7.5 million international visitors, an increase of 11.2% compared to 2024; total revenue from tourism is estimated at 130,000 billion VND.
