The traditional Trang Kenh - Bach Dang festival is held annually at the Temple of General Tran Quoc Bao to commemorate the merits of Hoang Ton General Tran Quoc Bao - a hero who contributed to the cause of fighting foreign invaders more than 7 centuries ago. Through the festival, Bach Dang ward, Hai Phong city wishes to foster national pride for the young generation, and at the same time fulfill the steadfast oath in preserving and promoting the value of cultural heritage, building an increasingly civilized and beautiful homeland.
In the joyful atmosphere of the festival, the opening drumming ceremony was solemnly performed, opening a series of incense offering and commemoration activities. The sound of the festival drum resounded along with the solemn incense offering ceremony, expressing deep gratitude, praying for national peace and prosperity and promoting the aspiration to build an increasingly rich and beautiful, civilized homeland.
