According to All Kpop on March 3, Chuncheon Pungmul market ( Chuncheon folk antique market) attracted online attention after BTS member V visited this location.
V (Taehyung), who is serving in the 2nd Army Corps in Chuncheon, shared a photo of him with fans on Instagram on February 23.
Fans quickly speculate about the location of one of the singer's photos and confirmed that he was sitting on a long chair at Chuncheon Pungmul market, under the Gyeongchun railway bridge.
On the long chair, there is an excerpt from Camellia Blossoms, a novel by Kim Yu-jeong, a writer from Chuncheon.

Fans have expressed their desire to visit the market on online communities. A fan commented: "I will take notes and visit the market when I am in Chuncheon".
According to Chosun Daily, Chuncheon City has announced plans to develop the market into a major local attraction after receiving increasing attention from V's visit.
The Ministry of Small and Medium Enterprises and Startups of Korea chose Chuncheon City for a special development project. The local government plans to invest 1 billion won (about $685,000) next year to increase the attractiveness of Pungmul market as a prominent tourist destination on the Chuncheon city map.

Chuncheon Pungmul Market is a traditional market open five days a week, stretching for about 500 meters below the elevated railway line of Gyeongchun.
The market is conveniently located, just a short distance from Namchuncheon Station, Chuncheon Inter-provincial Bus Station and a five-minute walking bus station, making it easy for both locals and tourists traveling by train or bus to access.
Unlike most traditional markets, Chuncheon Pungmul Market is surrounded by high-rise buildings, creating a special and outstanding atmosphere. During market days, this place is flooded with many stalls selling fresh agricultural products, seafood, snacks and many different types of goods.
