The World Cruise Awards, part of the prestigious global award system World Travel Awards, recently continued to honor the Grand Pioneers cruise ship of Viet Thuan Transport Company Limited as the world's best green cruise ship in 2025. This is the second consecutive time the unit has received this prestigious award.
Previously, the cruise ship was also honored by the World Cruise Awards as the world's best green cruise ship in 2024.
The award is voted by experts in the cruise industry and the public, tourists around the world with the highest standards in the cruise industry, honoring outstanding brands in innovation, sustainability and service quality.

In early 2025, this 5-star cruise ship was also honored as "New Luxury flatline in Vietnam" - in the Luxury Lifestyle Awards system - an international award given to high-end brands in the tourism and lifestyle industry.
The ship uses a conditioning system and engine imported from Japan, along with Korean wastewater treatment technology, helping to reduce emissions and ensure environmental standards.
Grand Pioneers will operate a heritage route connecting Ha Long Bay and Bai Tu Long Bay from 2024. The project consists of two large cruise ships with a total investment of about 35 million USD. Each ship is 109.9m long, 18.68m wide, designed with 1 basement and 6 upper floors, each floor area is over 2,000m2, including 55 luxury rooms. The capacity is maximum 160 overnight guests and 320 visitors.
