On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution (August 19) and National Day (September 2), the Hanoi People's Committee will preside over and coordinate with ministries and branches to prepare to organize celebrations, parades, and parades at Ba Dinh Square.
There are currently no official statistics on the room occupancy rate of accommodation establishments in Ba Dinh district during the upcoming grand festival.
According to a survey by Lao Dong, many small and medium-sized accommodation establishments around the President Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum area have announced that they have full rooms, increasing prices by 20 - 30% during the September 2 holiday.

A representative of Gilson Hanoi Hotel (Son Tay Street, Ba Dinh District) said that all rooms were sold out on peak day on September 1. In the remaining days, the hotel still meets the accommodation needs of large groups of guests, but will add 300,000 VND/room on September 1 and 2.
Meanwhile, Michi House (Le Hong Phong Street, Ba Dinh District) only has rooms for a group of 2 - 4 people. In addition, the price here will increase by 30% compared to normal days, the lowest from 500,000 VND/night/room.
In particular, a representative of Ivy Hotel & Apartment located on Nguyen Thai Hoc Street, Ba Dinh District said that all 30 rooms of the hotel have been booked in advance.
"As soon as there was information about organizing a parade at Uncle Ho's Mausoleum, the hotel received a request to book rooms to serve the groups. We cannot accept more individual guests even though there are many customers calling to book rooms, said the representative of this hotel.

The main reason for the closed accommodation facilities is that they are located near Ba Dinh Square, making it convenient for travel. Hotel representatives confirmed that tourists all want to be near this area for walking, come early and choose a place to see a beautiful parade, instead of having to travel far, suffer from traffic jams, jostling, and fatigue.
The group of guests booking rooms are mostly large groups of guests in the Central and Southern regions. Many families in the northern provinces also want to rent rooms to watch the parade on September 2, conveniently strolling and visiting famous places in Hanoi during peak season.
In addition, after surveying accommodation establishments in Ba Dinh district, some tourists postponed booking because there were no announcements about the parade and parade routes.
"There are many hotels and homestays in the old town or Ba Dinh district. With about 4 months left until the official holiday, I am waiting for more information about the training schedule, preliminary approval and general approval of the parade and parade to determine the main routes the group will pass through and find a suitable place to stay," said Mr. Duc Phong (27 years old, Nghe An).
Some hotels said that their other facilities in Ba Dinh Square about 1.5 - 2km away still have many empty rooms, however, the number of customers calling in advance is increasing rapidly. To reserve a place, visitors also have to deposit 20 - 30% of the total room fee.
