According to the Department of Tourism of Da Nang City, during the National Day holiday of September 2, from August 31 to September 3, Da Nang welcomed nearly 308,000 tourists , an increase of 21.2% over the same period in 2023.
Of which, domestic visitors reached about 217,000 and international visitors reached about 91,000. Total tourism revenue during the recent holiday in Da Nang reached more than 1.2 trillion VND, an increase of 33.8% over the same period in 2023.
Over the past 10 years, the number of visitors to Da Nang City has increased more than 6 times, of which international visitors have increased 16 times.
According to the Department of Tourism of Da Nang City, the effectiveness of tourism activities comes first from the attention and support of the Politburo, the Government, and central ministries and branches with Resolution 33 "Building and developing Da Nang City in the period of industrialization and modernization of the country", Resolution 43 (2019) on building and developing Da Nang City to 2030, vision 2045 are important guiding documents, opening up many opportunities and great potential for the city in the new development period 2021 - 2030.

Over the past years, the city has prioritized public investment in tourism development by completing a modern, synchronous infrastructure system and a professional, high-quality tourism service facility system, attracting many strong investors, contributing significantly to changing the face of Da Nang tourism.
The city also allocates resources to organize tourism development activities such as organizing events, festivals, promotion, advertising, cooperation, training, etc., along with resources from businesses.
In addition, Da Nang City focuses on training human resources, improving service quality and regularly holding dialogues to resolve difficulties and problems of investors.
Not only that, the Department of Tourism also periodically investigates and classifies the qualifications of tourism workers to have appropriate training plans, organizes skill improvement exams, supports businesses and training facilities, cooperates in building training programs and output standards, and links students to do internships at businesses.
