On August 4, Mr. Le Cong Son - Deputy Director of the Hue Monuments Conservation Center, said that after completing the restoration, the Hai Van Quan monument officially opened and attracted a large number of visitors.

Accordingly, on the first day of opening (August 1), the Hai Van Quan monument welcomed more than 1,400 visitors, on August 2 about 2,700 visitors, and on August 3 about 4,600 visitors.
From the morning of August 4, a large number of locals and tourists moved up Hai Van Pass to visit the monument. Vehicles lined up, inching forward to reach the top of the pass.

Mr. Nguyen Duc Minh (a resident of Hue City) said that this morning (August 4) he drove up to the top of Hai Van Pass. Due to the large number of vehicles, it took a long time to reach the Hai Van Quan monument.
The leadership of the Phu Loc Traffic Police Station (Traffic Police Department of Thua Thien Hue Province) said that on weekends, the traffic volume through Hai Van Pass usually increases compared to weekdays due to many people traveling for tourism. The unit regularly organizes patrols and controls to ensure traffic safety.

Currently, on Hai Van Pass within the territory of Da Nang City, the anti-illegal racing team of the Hoa Hiep Gate Traffic Police Station (Traffic Police Department of the City Police) coordinates with local police to regularly patrol and control to ensure traffic safety.
