From ancient houses in Hoi An, peaceful villages in Mai Chau to Phu Quy island with its characteristic sea and island life, the destinations all impress tourists with their friendliness, thoughtfulness and stable service quality.

This list is built based on the percentage of accommodation partners receiving the Traveller Review Awards compared to the total number of accommodation establishments at each destination. The reviews are compiled from more than 370 million authenticated reviews of tourists worldwide.

In 2026, the Traveller Review Awards recognized 1.81 million travel partners in 221 countries and territories, an increase of about 5% compared to the previous year.

In Vietnam alone, there are 13,052 accommodation partners awarded prizes. This figure shows the strong development of the tourism industry as well as efforts to improve service quality to improve the experience for international and domestic tourists.

By type of accommodation, hotels still lead the number of units honored in Vietnam with 5,361 establishments winning awards. Second place is apartments; followed by homestays, hotel apartments and villas.

This figure reflects the trend of tourists in Vietnam looking for personal accommodation spaces, close to local culture such as homestays or tourist apartments.

Meanwhile, globally, apartments are the type of accommodation that receives the most awards, followed by resorts and then traditional hotels. This trend shows that international tourists are increasingly interested in unique accommodation experiences, associated with regional identity.
