Hoi An is bustling with cultural activities and unique festivals, promising to bring memorable experiences to locals and visitors during Tet.

On January 23, the Hoi An Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism announced that the city has planned to organize a series of exciting activities to welcome the Year of the Snake 2025. On New Year's Eve, at 11:00 p.m. on January 28, 2025, Hoi An Park will be the venue for a special art program with the participation of local singers and bands. Immediately after, a brilliant fireworks display will open a new year full of hope and success.

Indispensable traditional activities such as the Spring Festival, the Tree Planting Festival, the Tet Pole Raising Festival, the Spring Boat Race... are also organized, creating the unique cultural identity of Hoi An. The programs "Tet Sum Vay - Spring Sharing" and "Warm Spring - Tet Love" continue to spread love and sharing to the community.

This year's Spring Flower Festival will be held at Trang Keo Lake (from January 22 to 28, 2025), a new, spacious and convenient location. Hundreds of flower, ornamental plant and Tet decoration stalls, along with nightly art performances, will bring a brilliant spring atmosphere to locals and visitors. At Hoi An Park, from the night of the 29th of Tet to the end of January 11, there will be fun and entertainment activities with many modern games, meeting the diverse needs of the people.

The Hoi An Lunar New Year Festival is also an opportunity to promote traditional customs and beliefs such as: Cam Ha Kumquat Tree Festival, Tra Que Cau Bong Festival, Kim Bong Carpentry Ancestor Commemoration Day, Cam Nam Sticky Corn Festival, and Lantern Festival. As a UNESCO Creative City of Crafts and Folk Arts, Hoi An always focuses on promoting traditional cultural values and promoting sustainable development.

Not only that, throughout the ancient streets and communes, there will be interesting experiential activities such as: Singing Bai Choi, performing traditional music, Hat Boi, folk games... creating a joyful and bustling atmosphere everywhere. The Lunar New Year Festival is an opportunity to preserve and promote traditional cultural values, foster love for the homeland, and at the same time introduce to domestic and foreign friends about a "kind and gentle" Hoi An, rich in cultural identity, ready to welcome a bright new year of At Ty 2025.
