On the evening of June 5, Lao Cai International Tourism Fair 2025 with the theme "Connecting green aspirations" was held for the first time in Lao Cai city.
This is not only a tourism promotion activity affirming its position as a regional and international connectivity center but also a good opportunity for domestic and foreign partners, businesses, and investors to know a potential and attractive Lao Cai.
This year's International Tourism Fair is held with a scale of 130 booths, taking place from June 5-8.
In particular, the fair included the participation of a survey team from 120 major international travel agencies, representing 10 countries and territories such as China, Malaysia, India, Japan... along with more than 40 domestic and international promotional and communication agencies and organizations.
In his opening speech, Mr. Hoang Quoc Khanh - Permanent Vice Chairman of Lao Cai Provincial People's Committee affirmed that the province is always steadfast in the orientation of developing green and sustainable tourism.
The theme "Lao Cai Tourism - Connecting green aspirations" is a strong message, demonstrating the determination of local tourism towards sustainable development goals with core values, which are: Protecting the natural ecosystem, minimizing human impact; reducing waste, using clean energy and renewable resources; expanding connectivity between Lao Cai province's tourism and the Northwest region...
The fair promises to open up opportunities for investors, businesses in the tourism service sector, travel... to find partners, sign contracts, to promote the increase of visitors to Lao Cai in the future.
