According to the reporter, in the days after the National Day holiday on September 2, there were still quite a lot of tourists coming to An Giang, especially on pilgrimage to the Ba Chua Xu Temple on Sam Mountain. Tourists said that this was the low season, so visiting and praying for peace was easy, with little crowding.
Ms. Nguyen Phuong Truc (29 years old, Can Tho City) said that her family left Binh Thuy district at 6:30 am and arrived at the destination in about 9 hours. On the way, the air was very cool and there was no traffic jam. When approaching the Ba Temple area, everyone felt comfortable because they felt the "sacredness".
"Learning from previous years' experiences, the festival was very crowded and tiring, so this year my family decided to go pray for peace after the National Day. Similar to usual, I bought some fruit to offer to the Lady to express my secret feelings. I pray for peace and health for my family and to be able to overcome all the difficulties in life" - Ms. Truc shared.
Mr. Ho Van Khoa (38 years old, Ho Chi Minh City) also said: "During the holidays, I mainly spend time with my family. On the other hand, I am afraid of the crowded streets so I do not go to visit the Lady. Therefore, I arrange to take leave after the holidays to "pay my respects" at the Lady Chua Xu Temple. This year, my work is not very good, I hope that from now until the end of the year, things will go smoothly and favorably."
Along with Ba Chua Xu Mountain and Sam Mountain, these days there are many groups of pilgrims coming to Cam Mountain. This place has a long-standing pagoda system and is considered a Buddhist land. Most visitors to Cam Mountain pray for national peace, people's peace, family harmony, and prosperity in business...
In addition, located at an altitude of over 700m above sea level, Cam Mountain is considered the roof of the West and is a destination for many tourists.
"Due to the pressure of work and life, whenever I have time, I come here to "heal". Choosing to go after the holidays is also a solution to avoid the noise and bustle. The roads here are spacious, the cost is reasonable, so sometimes I come here to stay for 1-2 days on the weekend to slow down, balance my life and then return to continue working" - Mr. Nguyen Hoai Nam (Dong Thap province) confided.
