20 teams of chefs and workers representing member units nationwide of Khanh Hoa Salanganes Nest Company together created the bird's nest banquet for 90 minutes.
The organizing committee provided each team with a budget of 1.5 million VND and 20 grams of refined bird's nest on Khanh Hoa natural bird's nest island. Each team will prepare 2 dishes, including 1 salty dish and 1 sweet dish, for 4 people.
One of the top criteria for teams participating in cooking dishes is how to make diners feel the nutritional value of Khanh Hoa wild bird's nest.





With 25 years of experience, chef Nguyen Van Hoang - a son of Nha Trang beach - is always passionate about how to bring Khanh Hoa bird's nest cuisine closer to many diners.
In this contest, Mr. Hoang and his colleagues chose to combine bird's nest with salmon and tropical fruits. 2 dishes with the highest nutritional value, both have full ingredients and have a harmonious meaning to the person enjoying them.
For chef Nguyen Bang, "combining to enhance the value through bird's nest and turmeric sticky rice flower" is the dish he brought to the contest for the first time. With the rich combination of protein, vitamins, calcium of salmon... the party that Mr. Bang's team performed was highly appreciated.
Khanh Hoa bird's nest cuisine was first held at Nha Trang Sea Festival 2009 and has recently been upgraded to a festival.
