On February 24 (ie, the 8th day of the first lunar month of Binh Ngo year), at the Temple of Van the Su Bieu Chu Van An, belonging to the Phuong Hoang National Relic Area, the Party Committee - People's Council - People's Committee - Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Chu Van An ward, Hai Phong city organized the Opening Ceremony of Binh Ngo Spring 2026.
The ceremony was organized to honor the tradition of studiousness, the morality of "respecting teachers and valuing morality" of the nation, and at the same time express gratitude for the great contributions of Van the Su Bieu Chu Van An - World Cultural Figure, a model teacher of all generations. This is also a traditional cultural activity with the meaning of arousing the spirit of learning, training, and nurturing the aspiration to establish a career for the young generation in the new year.
The program takes place with solemn rituals: offering incense to commemorate Van the Su Bieu; opening speech at the beginning of spring; opening drum ceremony; performance of Han Van calligraphy with the four characters "Chinh dai quang minh" - symbolizing the right and wise path, for the people and the country; and opening ceremony of Quoc Ngu script with 7 characters: Tri - Minh - An - Khang - Vinh - Thinh - Phuc, meaning about wisdom, health, career and blessings.

The highlight of the ceremony was the simultaneous calligraphy opening ceremony of typical students of Chu Van An ward (Hai Phong) and Thanh Liet ward (Hanoi) with the teachings of Teacher Chu Van An: "Learn righteousness, practice skillfully", showing the determination to study, practice, and continue the tradition of studiousness of the homeland.
On the sidelines of the ceremony, a Han Nom calligraphy exchange program was held by the Chu Van An Ward Public Service Center in coordination with the Hai Phong City Calligraphy Center for Cou Doi and Han Nom Studies. Calligraphers directly performed and presented calligraphy at the beginning of spring to delegates and people, contributing to spreading the quintessence of traditional calligraphy art, enriching the cultural space at Thay Temple.

On this occasion, the People's Committee of Chu Van An ward awarded prizes to 20 typical students with excellent achievements in studying and training in 2025, thereby spreading the spirit of studiousness, encouraging learning, and encouraging talent in the community.
The Binh Ngo Spring Opening Ceremony 2026 continues to affirm the sustainable value of Vietnam's tradition of studiousness, contributing to building a rich spiritual and cultural life, towards the sustainable development goals of the locality in the new year.
