Lai Chau Culture - Tourism Week in Da Nang in 2024 with the theme "Returning to the majestic Lai Chau peaks" hopes to introduce and promote the land, people, potential and advantages of Lai Chau to the people and tourists. Lai Chau Culture - Tourism Week is held from November 22 - 24 with many exciting and attractive activities such as art programs imbued with national identity and activities to display and introduce ethnic costumes, potential, tourism products, OCOP products, local specialties.
"In recent times, Lai Chau province has focused on investing, attracting investment and putting into operation a number of quality tourism products to meet the needs of the high-end tourist market segment with the goal of welcoming over 2 million visitors by 2030. At the same time, we also identified preserving and promoting the fine traditional cultural values of ethnic groups associated with tourism development as a key program of the province in the 2020 - 2025 term," said Mr. Tong Thanh Hai, Vice Chairman of Lai Chau Provincial People's Committee.
According to Mr. Tong Thanh Hai, tourists coming to Lai Chau can explore the rich, diverse and unique culture of the ethnic groups, especially the colorful costumes with skillful embroidery, the diversity and uniqueness of traditional dishes imbued with the flavors of the Northwest mountains and forests.
