Images of cars filled with daisies, roses, lotus flowers... familiar on the streets of Hanoi suddenly appeared in Lai Chau City. On many streets, flower floats act as brilliant highlights, adding to the beauty of the mountain town at the "end of the Northwest sky".
Many young people eagerly come here to take photos and preserve beautiful moments with poetic flower cars. Coo Huong Chinh (21 years old, Lai Chau City), said: "I was really surprised to see flower cars appearing in Lai Chau. With only a photography fee of 30,000 VND/person, you can freely take photos with the feeling of being immersed in the autumn atmosphere of Hanoi amidst the Northwest mountains and forests."

Not only is it a photography trend, bringing "Hanoi autumn" to Lai Chau is also a way to promote the beauty of the city. The floats have become the focal point on the streets of Lai Chau, attracting hundreds of tourists to take souvenir photos, capturing memorable moments of the early days of autumn.
Along with a group of close friends checking in at Nguyen Van Linh street, Ms. Luong Thi Thao (33 years old, Lai Chau City) shared: "Bringing colorful flower cars to the mountain town has blown a new breeze, making Lai Chau looks more youthful and attractive."

Even though it suddenly rained continuously, the atmosphere at the check-in point was always vibrant. Laughing and chatting were bustling, phones were constantly raised to record beautiful moments, creating an extremely vibrant scene.

As one of the initiators of the idea of "bringing Hanoi's autumn to the mountain town", Mr. Tran Huynh - Dong Phong Ward, Lai Chau City said: "Remembering the autumn afternoons of Hanoi, along Phan Dinh Phung street." With colorful flowers, I came up with the idea of bringing those flower cars to Lai Chau so that many young people in the mountain town can experience the autumn atmosphere of Hanoi."
According to Mr. Huynh, each float is elaborately decorated at a cost of about 2-3 million VND. About 150 visitors come to take photos every day, providing a guaranteed source of income to maintain.

“After the first six floats, this trend quickly spread to the districts. In the coming time, we will continue to invest in 5 more female flower cars to serve the needs of young people" - Mr. Huynh said.
Along with carts filled with flowers, Mr. Huynh also sells lotus seed coconut sticky rice, a typical dish of Hanoi's autumn. All ingredients are selected from Lai Chau's hometown, such as green rice in Than Uyen district, lotus seeds and lotus leaves from Ma Quai commune, Sin Ho district...
