Khanh Hoa already has about 40 international routes
On January 15, leaders of Khanh Hoa Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism said that by the end of 2025, Khanh Hoa had about 40 international routes, operated by 21 airlines.
Flight routes connect with markets such as: South Korea, China, Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore, Russian Federation and CIS countries (Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan).
The rapid expansion of the international flight network has made Khanh Hoa one of the destinations with the most vibrant international aviation connections in the country.

In 2025, on average, there are about 38 international flights to Cam Ranh International Airport every day, bringing thousands of international visitors to the locality. Thereby, making a significant contribution to tourism growth.
Many new and restored international routes have made a clear impression. Notably, the Warsaw (Poland) - Cam Ranh route was put into operation during the Lunar New Year 2025, marking the first direct flight from Europe to Khanh Hoa.
In addition, Vietnam Airlines opened the Cam Ranh - Busan (Korea) route from June 2025, maintaining daily flight frequency.
On November 21, 2025, Scoot Air officially opened the Singapore - Khanh Hoa direct route, with the first flight number TR322 landing at Cam Ranh airport.
In addition to the Northeast Asian and Southeast Asian markets, many Russian airlines have also increased flights from Moscow and Kazan, contributing to bringing the number of Russian passengers to Khanh Hoa back to increase sharply.
Thanks to the expanded international flight network and flexible passenger reception policies, in 2025, Khanh Hoa is estimated to welcome 5.5 million international visitors, an increase of 13.41% compared to the same period, making an important contribution to the total number of visitors and tourism revenue of the whole province.
Expectations for expanding international flight network
Currently, the growth momentum of international tourists is continuing to be maintained after the 2026 New Year holiday.
From January 1 to 4, 2026, Cam Ranh International Airport will serve 512 take-off and landing flights, an increase of 4% compared to the same period in 2025 and an increase of 5% compared to the current flight week.

Of which, there are about 321 international and 191 domestic flights. The total number of passengers passing through the port during this period reached more than 95,000, an increase of 15% compared to the same period in 2025 and an increase of 20% compared to the current flight week. This shows that travel and tourism demand continues to increase.
According to Cam Ranh International Airport, in 2026, it is expected to continue to open many new international routes. The Cam Ranh - Singapore route operated by Scoot Air will increase frequency from 2 flights/week to 5 flights/week from the beginning of 2026.
The Cam Ranh - Phnom Penh (Cambodia) route is expected to operate from January 17, 2026 with about 2 flights/week.
Leaders of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Khanh Hoa province added that in 2026, the Mongolian market is expected to continue operating charter flights through Hunnu Air and Vietjet Air in the peak season at the end of 2025 and early 2026.
At the same time, existing routes from South Korea, China, Russia and CIS countries continue to maintain high frequency. In which, routes from Seoul, Busan, Daegu are expected to increase in flights next year.
Some major cities in the Chinese market such as Chengdu, Haikou, Guangzhou are also planning to operate flights to Cam Ranh with a significant frequency, contributing to diversifying international passenger sources.
With an increasingly expanded aviation connection platform, Khanh Hoa aims to welcome about 18.8 million visitors in 2026, continuing to affirm its role as a major tourist center of the country and aiming for sustainable tourism development.
