On May 10, the People's Committee of Khanh Hoa province directed to strengthen food safety assurance and prevent counterfeit and food poisoning. This policy is implemented in the context of the locality entering the summer festival seasons.
Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Health - the standing agency of the Provincial Interdisciplinary Steering Committee for Food Safety and Hygiene - to preside over and coordinate with relevant units and localities to urgently deploy food safety work.
The Department of Industry and Trade is assigned to preside over and coordinate with the Department of Health, the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, the Provincial Police and relevant agencies to implement the content of Section 3 of the above Official Dispatch; synthesize and report to the Provincial People's Committee when any arises.
Departments, branches, sectors, People's Committees at district and commune levels, the Provincial Police and Khanh Hoa Newspaper, based on their assigned functions and tasks, proactively coordinate with the health sector and related units to strengthen food safety assurance and prevention of fake and food poisoning in the area.
In May 2025, Khanh Hoa province announced a series of events for the 2025 Sea Tourism and Culture Festival with the theme "Nha Trang say Hi!"
The festival took place from July 7-9 in the coastal city of Nha Trang, with 36 unique cultural, sports and artistic events. Notably, there are traditional bird's nest festivals at Hon Noi bird's nest island, Tram Huong festival at Ponagar Tower and the International Food Festival at Tran Phu Park.
In particular, marine sports activities such as the International Beach Volleyball Tournament, Sea Star Nha Trang Bay Beach Swimming Tournament and Victory Challenge Sailun Cup Sports Car Race... are expected to attract the participation of a large number of athletes.
