From January 11-12, the Northern Delta and Thanh Hoa regions will experience severe cold. At sea, in the North East Sea (including Hoang Sa), the Northeast wind will gradually increase to level 7, gusting to level 8-9, with rough seas and waves 3.0-5.0m high. In the Southwestern East Sea (including Truong Sa) and from Khanh Hoa to Binh Thuan, the Northeast wind will increase to level 6, from tomorrow increasing to level 7, gusting to level 8-9, with rough seas and waves 2.0-4.5m high.
In the Gulf of Tonkin, the Northeast wind gradually increases to level 6, sometimes level 7, gusting to level 8-9, rough seas, waves 1.5-3.5m high; in the sea area from Quang Tri to Phu Yen and the central East Sea, the Northeast wind gradually increases to level 6-7, gusting to level 8-9, rough seas, waves 2.0-4.5m high.
The sea area from Ba Ria Vung Tau to Ca Mau has northeast wind gradually increasing to level 6, tomorrow it will be level 7 at times, gusting to level 8-9, rough sea, waves 2.0-4.5m high.
Due to the influence of the cold air strengthening, the area from Ha Tinh to Binh Dinh will have rain, showers and thunderstorms, locally heavy rain. From the night of January 10-12, the mountainous and midland areas of the North will be very cold, some places will be very cold, high mountainous areas may have frost and frost.
From January 11-12, the Northern Delta and Thanh Hoa will experience severe cold. Thunderstorms may include tornadoes, lightning, and strong gusts of wind.
Thunderstorms with tornadoes, lightning and strong winds can affect agricultural production, break trees, damage houses and infrastructure. Localized heavy rain can cause flooding in low-lying areas; flash floods in small rivers and streams and landslides on steep slopes.
