Visiting Uncle Ho's hometown at the Kim Lien National Special Relic Site (Kim Lien Commune, Nam Dan District, Nghe An Province) on the occasion of Lunar New Year this year, many tourists were surprised and delighted by a completely new, brilliant and sacred space.
The decoration was carried out in a series, from the tomb of Mrs. Hoang Thi Loan to the welcome gate of Lang Sen, Uncle Ho's maternal and paternal hometowns. Many miniature landscapes were built with a methodical, neat and beautiful design, both imbued with the national cultural identity, Nghe An culture, and modern, solemn, in harmony with the landscape of the relic complex.

The space is filled with red flags with yellow stars, hammer and sickle flags fluttering, visual propaganda billboards, or filled with the colors of all kinds of flowers blooming and blooming. Simple, rustic thatched houses, with familiar agricultural tools and products of the Vietnamese countryside; cultural features, typical Tet customs of the nation with kumquat, apricot, peach, red parallel sentences, green Chung cakes...
The main color this year is lotus pink, the typical color of Uncle Ho's homeland. In addition, the relic site also displays an exhibition with the theme "The Communist Party of Vietnam - 95 years of glorious journeys", serving the people and tourists during the Lunar New Year.
The most special and new thing about this year's Tet holiday at the Relic Site is the rural market area, with many typical specialties of Nghe An people. This promises to be an interesting experience space, taking visitors back in time, back to the traditional rural market atmosphere, reminiscing about the old days, feeling the simple but loving, warm, close Tet, imbued with national cultural identity.

Director of Kim Lien National Special Relic Site – Mr. Nguyen Bao Tuan – said: “Tet Nguyen Dan is a sacred occasion of the nation. With the spirit of returning to the roots, there are many delegations of tourists and people in the country as well as overseas Vietnamese visiting Uncle Ho’s hometown.
The Kim Lien National Special Relic Site is also a place for pilgrimage, sightseeing, and entertainment for people of all walks of life and children. On average, during Tet, the Kim Lien Relic Site welcomes thousands of groups of visitors with 30,000 - 40,000 visitors. Therefore, since the end of 2024, the Kim Lien Relic Site Management Board has planned to renovate and create a new look for the relic site to welcome Spring, welcome groups of visitors and people from all over the world."

On the occasion of Lunar New Year, it is expected that many delegations from the central to local levels, including many international delegations, along with many families and tourists will come to offer incense and flowers to commemorate President Ho Chi Minh and visit the Kim Lien National Special Relic Site.
Therefore, the Relic Site Management Board has arranged staff to be on duty throughout Tet to serve tourists.
