On the morning of January 1st, at Lien Khuong International Airport, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Lam Dong province organized a ceremony to welcome and congratulate the first 10 visitors to Lam Dong on the first day of the new year 2026.

Mr. Ho Van Muoi, Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee, along with leaders of the Provincial People's Committee and departments, agencies, and branches of the province were present at Lien Khuong Airport to welcome and congratulate the New Year flight with passengers and crew.

Lucky guests received flowers and gifts from leaders of Lam Dong province and Lien Khuong International Airport on the occasion of the first day of the new year.
Welcoming the first guests shows the friendliness and hospitality of the leaders of Lam Dong province; thereby creating a spread of the image of a safe and friendly destination of Da Lat in particular and Lam Dong province in general.

Flight number VN-6172 of VN Group, a joint venture between Vietnam Airlines and Pacific Airlines, departed from Ho Chi Minh City, landed at Lien Khuong Airport at 7:45 am on January 1st, carrying 250 passengers and crew.

On January 1st, Lien Khuong International Airport continued to welcome many other flights, bringing people and tourists from all over the country to Lam Dong to visit, travel, and relax at the beginning of the new year 2026.

In 2025, the economic situation continued to grow quite well; tourism continued to be a bright spot in the socio-economic development of the province.
The total number of visitors to Lam Dong in 2025 is estimated to reach 20.768 million (up 18.1% compared to the same period), reaching 115.38% of the plan; of which there are 1.287 million international visitors (up 39.7% compared to the same period).
The number of days of stay is estimated at 38.18 million trips. Revenue from tourism is estimated at 56,800 billion VND. In recent years, tourism infrastructure has been invested in, renovated, and upgraded, meeting the needs of tourists better and better.
In the coming time, especially in 2026, Lam Dong province will continue to focus on developing new, high-quality, competitive tourism products, based on outstanding advantages in natural resources, culture and heritage of the locality.
