During the New Year holiday, at Sa Pa National Tourist Area (Lao Cai), many large-scale events such as the Miss Tourism Vietnam 2026 Finals, the Opening Ceremony of the "Sa Pa - Quintessence Convergence" Cultural Space, the launch of the Community Connection Culture Cooperative and the New Year's Countdown program took place, creating great attraction for people and tourists.
At Quan Stadium (Sa Pa ward), the National Finals of Miss Tourism Vietnam 2026 attracted a large audience.
More than 35 best contestants entered the Ao Dai, evening gown and body performance competitions. Through this, the judges selected 25 faces to continue competing in the final round.
Representatives of the organizing committee said that choosing Sa Pa as the highlight of the beauty journey aims to honor the beauty of Vietnamese women associated with majestic nature and the cultural identity of the Northwest ethnic groups. These events are expected to contribute to promoting the image of friendly and unique Sa Pa to domestic and international friends.
Not only beauty pageants, Quan Stadium is also hotter with the participation of artists such as Hoang Hai, Quynh Nga... creating a bustling atmosphere in the last night of the year.
Immediately after that, the New Year 2026 Countdown art program made the central Sa Pa area explode. Modern music performances mixed with traditional melodies made the crowd excited, joining in the moment of counting down to the new year.
Fireworks lit up the Sa Pa sky amidst cheers, opening up expectations for a prosperous year for tourism.
In the freezing cold weather, thousands of people and tourists jostled the square, the Stone Church and neighboring streets, recording memorable moments of transition.

The flow of people continues to flock to the center of Sa Pa ward until New Year's Eve, turning this place into a sea of people showing off their colors amidst brilliant fireworks, closing the old year in joy and excitement waiting for a new tourist season.
