According to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Lâm Đồng Province, the number of tourists visiting the province in the first 7 months of the year has increased significantly compared to 2023.
Specifically, in the first 7 months of 2024, the tourism industry in Lâm Đồng Province welcomed over 6 million visitors, increasing by 12.1% compared to the same period.
The number of international visitors reached 361,000, increasing by 37.8% compared to the same period and achieving 66% of the plan. Domestic visitors to Lâm Đồng Province are estimated to reach 5.6 million, increasing by 10.8% compared to the same period and achieving 62% of the plan.
Only in July, it is estimated that a total of 940,000 visitors came to Lâm Đồng Province, increasing by 8% compared to the same period. Among them, international visitors are estimated to reach 60,000, increasing by 71.4% compared to the same period.
Currently, the province has over 3,090 accommodation facilities with a total of approximately 43,770 rooms. Among them, there are 449 hotels from 1-5 stars with a total of 13,172 rooms. 52 high-end hotels from 3-5 stars have 4,672 rooms, and 398 hotels from 1-2 stars have 8,435 rooms.
Lâm Đồng Province currently has 112 tourist areas, tourist spots, and tourist attractions. Among them, there is 1 national tourist area, 2 provincial tourist areas, and 12 tourist attractions that have been certified by the Provincial People's Committee to serve the needs of tourists and entertainment. From there, it creates a diverse and rich environment to develop tours and tourist routes on the territory of Lâm Đồng Province.
