On the evening of August 29, Dien Bien province coordinated with HVL Media Media Joint Stock Company to organize the opening ceremony of the 2026 Dance Festival.
The event is organized in a socialized form, attracting the participation of domestic and international businesses, clubs and folk dance troupes.

This is an opportunity for cultures to meet and exchange through music and dance, while spreading values of peace, friendship, solidarity and integration.
The festival is also expected to become a lively channel to promote the image of Dien Bien to tourists.
The westernmost land of the Fatherland is not only associated with the Dien Bien Phu Victory but also possesses unique cultural values, majestic natural landscapes, villages rich in identity and friendly and hospitable people.

Through the Festival, historical relics, villages, typical tourism products and images of Dien Bien people will be spread more widely.
The organizers expect each artist, member of folk dance troupes and tourist to become a "spreader", introducing Dien Bien to the community after the journey of experience.
The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Dien Bien province hopes that the Dan Vu Festival will be maintained annually, creating a unique mark, contributing to diversifying products and bringing Dien Bien closer to domestic and international tourists.
This year's Festival has 35 clubs, teams, and groups registered to participate in the competition, belonging to many ages and types of performances.
In addition to clubs and dance troupes of Dien Bien, the program also has the participation of many modern dance groups and children's groups.
The performances combine folk dances, folk dances and modern dances, contributing to creating a youthful and vibrant atmosphere, while expressing the continuation and renewal of traditional cultural values.


The 2026 International Dance Festival in Dien Bien takes place from August 28th to September 2nd, including: Cultural exchange Gala; street Carnival parade and performance.
Trade promotion space, tourism, cuisine, OCOP products; cultural experience space, community activities and art exhibitions; hot air balloon performance activities.
