Lao Cai Department of Tourism is researching volunteer tourism tours in villages severely damaged by storms and floods.

After the circulation of storm No. 3 Yagi, Lao Cai province suffered heavy damage due to natural disasters, in which the tourism industry - considered a key economic sector - also suffered serious losses. In order to quickly recover from natural disasters and reopen tourism on the basis of absolute safety, businesses, communities and local authorities are actively coordinating to overcome the consequences, restore and upgrade destinations.

When storms and landslides occurred, Lao Cai Department of Tourism directed localities and the Provincial Tourism Association to support tourists and people in tasks such as postponing and canceling tourism services, supporting zero-dong buses, and organizing free meals and accommodation for accommodation establishments...

Lao Cai Department of Tourism has proposed many solutions to restore tourism activities in the province, such as investment plans for exhibitions of pictures and documents on storm prevention work No. 3, and research on experience tours combined with charity in villages that suffered heavy damage.
